PRIVACY POLICY

You may at times be asked to provide personal information that is reasonably required to administer or plan our functions or activities, for engaging with us online and for donations. This information is soley used in our foundation management records and will not be passed on to any other party unless required by Australian law.

COOKIE POLICY

A standard "old school" cookie is a small text file saved to your computer or mobile device by a website when you visit the site. There are many different types of cookies and various methods web sites can use to track or gather information about you and your preferences. The Winston Foundation does NOT use any of them.

However, at a future date we may elect enable googleanalytics or similar analytics program to better understand how visitors use our site. Tools offered by google, facebook, adobe etc. expose the visitor to tracking technologies and methods which are outside the scope of our control. The most effective and efficient method to vastly limit unsolicited browsing intrusion is to install the popular AdBlockPlus browser add-on.

Note:Our Web site does not set nor require any first or third party cookies to work correctly. We do however require javascript for some of our visual effects, to use our online forms and for donations via Paypal's secure payment gateway. Australian payments and donations made through PayPal are subject to the policies of PayPal Australia Pty Limited.

REFUNDS AND RETURNS POLICY

Here at The Winston Foundation, we understand that mistakes can happen and that people change their minds. We need willing donations from people given in good conscience, and in no way wish to trick or scam people out of their money.

For that reason, our refunds of donations policy is clear and straightforward. We only accept donations as a singular event, and no recurring amounts will be taken from you. However, if you, the donor, have changed your mind about the amount you have donated, or wish to cancel your donation altogether, please notify The Winston Foundation in writing, within thirty (30) days of the initial donation. In this application, please include details of the initial transaction (date, donation amount, donor's name, ID, tax invoice number, billing information and the nature of the refund -i.e. you wish to obtain a full refund, a partial refund, or The Winston Foundation has made a mistake).

We will process your application within thirty (30) days, and will notify you when we have refunded the money.

Please note, your receipt from the initial transaction will no longer be valid for tax-deductible purposes.
